time with us on the day of. I was recommended Angela by a friend who had been a bridesmaid in another wedding Angela did. The trial was fantastic, I enjoyed her so much, and it was an easy decision after that. Angela and Dane were so much fun on the day of and all of my bridesmaids were so happy. My mother looked so incredibly beautiful and everyone had the best time. I would recommend Angela to anyone and everyone!!

ay was great because there was no rush to get to appointment after us so when we ran over our estimated timeline, there was no issues at all. Angela did an amazing job on hair/makeup and everyone was extremely happy with it. Makeup stayed beautifully through the night and I was SO sad to take it off. On top of the amazing work, Angela makes the experience fun and relaxing! Highly recommend!

My ceremony was outdoors and the make-up and hair stayed styled great! My mom is also very particular about her make-up and never let's anyone do it, but she let Angela do her make-up and it was perfect! Angela is patient and really listens to what you're looking for. She's also really great at covering up scarring. I had some acne scars on my back that she was able to cover-up! It stayed all day long! I highly recommend her!

perfect! I decided to meet with Angela after I saw her work online and Instagram and loved it all! I am very simple with my makeup and I wanted to keep it very natural but also look flawless! At our meeting, I felt like I was just catching up with a friend, she is so kind, funny and easy to talk. Another plus is that she is very prompt at replying to emails and that is very much appreciated! I got pampered by Angela for our engagement session, my bridal portraits and on our big day and every time I absolutely loved her work and I felt and looked so gorgeous (my husband loved my look every time as well)! I didnt want to remove my make up, but that would not be wise, right? LOL! My mom, mother in law and bridal party (4 bridesmaids and 1 flower girl) all loved their looks and ALL LOOKED SO GORGEOUS! Thank you so much Angela & Dane for making our long day very fun and making us all look flawless. Dane I also heard from my sister in law that you were very quick with my niece, the flower girl, who is only 2. Two year old’s do not stay still for too long and she was able to take care of her hair very quickly! I am so lucky to have worked with Angela on 3 different occasions and I will miss our hair and makeup sessions! So, I did not book early enough with the other make up artist I had picked before getting engaged..but 3 weeks before the wedding around my grandpa's last week, I was in the hospital on my phone desperately looking for a makeup artist and getting wedding stuff done (last minute). I was so afraid because other makeup artists were booked and I was very nervous that I would be stuck with one that was not going to be a match for me. After getting denied so many times because all mua were booked in Houston and Cypress/Katy area. I asked my grandpa to pray for something wonderful to happen, and he said to look for "the best" makeup artist. Nevertheless, I did search on google for "best makeup artist in Cypress". And Angela Karr was the first option! It was a miracle!!! As soon as I found her I looked at her website falling in love with her makeup and hair dos. I send her an email as soon as I could. That same day, she was the first person to email me back with affordable quotes for makeup and hair. I seriously love her! Literally her name describes her, she is an Angel! To my surprise the day I went to get my makeup and hair done for my rehearsal dinner (which I recommend) that way she can get your airbrush match for the next day(wedding) all set and obviously spend more time with her. She is awesome!! To my surprise she was not even 10 minutes away from where I lived in Cypress. I came in to the studio, and even before I sat down, I knew I was in good hands. I don't know how long I was there the first time probably like 2-3? I don't remember but time went by so fast and she was so easy to talk to and work with. Her energy and her beautiful talent of just knowing when to stop after working on you, she can tell very well, if you are doubting or just nervous but she keeps working until she knows you look your best!!! I loved my makeup, everyone asked and I was proudly saying her name and even (bragged that Angela had done Simone Biles hair and makeup too) and even mentioned her in my rehearsal dinner toast too. At that moment, I had shared how nervous and sad I was for not having my grandpa at the wedding and she was so supportive and very encouraging. I miss her! Seriously don't look further just BOOK HER NOW!!! You are doing yourself a favor!! So, to wrap this long essay...(sorry Angela..but seriously YOU ARE AMAZING!!!).. for my wedding, she made me look like me, not fake, but just made my "beauty" per se, she brought out my beauty and inner self out with the perfect makeup and hair. She used these amazing eyelashes that looked totally hot and looked like mine but yet sexy long. Not the ugly fake eyelashes that are glued together. Nope not those. She made me look like seriously a celebrity. I have lots of acne and acne scars and with her amazing light hand and talent she made me look beautiful..flawless skin.. but enough to make me look flawless.. haha and the airbrush makeup did not stain my groom's tux and stayed all day...everyone thought that all her work on me look so natural yet flawless and perfect. I truly feel honored and blessed to have had her as my mua for my special day. She made it memorable and very special with her laugh and contagious peaceful heart. <3

I really appreciated how the team took time to talk to each person about what they wanted, while also giving their expert opinion. Their work also translated very well to the wedding pictures. I'd highly recommend Angela and her team to any upcoming bride!

d to look. I met with Angela for my trial early on in my wedding planning because flawless hair and makeup was a very important to me. Angela delivered that and more. She is so friendly, warm and calming to be around. All of the moms and bridesmaid raved about their makeup and hair on the day of the wedding. She was incredibly responsive to any correspondence leading up to the wedding and truly professional. She even recommended one of her wonderful makeup artist friends to do my makeup for my engagement photos on the west coast. Additionally, the hair assistant she brought on the day of the wedding couldn't have been any better. Not only did they both produce amazing looks, they were incredibly efficient. You can’t go wrong with booking Angela for your big day!

looked exactly the way I had imagined, but better. She was a joy to work with, and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. She even stayed late and helped put flowers on my cake when my wedding coordinator dropped the ball. I highly recommend Angela, she is incredible.

er occasions for myself and the bride. 3 weeks before the wedding, the stylist we booked cancelled on us. Well, we started calling around and found that everyone was booked up. I called Angela Karr Hair and Makeup and even though it was a Sunday and she was out of town on location, she returned my call. She listened to my story and said, "I am out of town, but, will make some calls and get back with you". Everyone else would just tell me... "Sorry, I am booked". Some would add "Good luck". Well... Angela did find us a hair stylist and makeup artist and let me just tell you... I now understand the phrase "unanswered prayers" and "things happening for a reason" because what we got, was true PROFESSIONALISM. Vicky did our makeup and she made me feel 10 years younger ... and the bride was shocked and amazed how beautiful and perfect Vicky made her feel. She was able to give the bride the exact look she was hoping for. Angelo was our hair stylist and he took his time and gave us both exactly what we asked for. He even told me that he wanted to try a style for me that I wanted, but, was hesitant about because I have VERY FRIZZY hair and he had not worked with me before and that if after he finished, I still felt nervous about it, he would braid it back or pull it up. Well... he did a beautiful job and we were more than pleased, we were IN LOVE with our results. I have never seen a more beautiful bride. The anguish that we felt when the former stylist quit on us so close to our event day was worth it to find Angela Karr and her stylists. If you want to look beautiful, feel pampered and be treated with pure professionalism... You have found your artist. I wish that I could post some pictures here for you. SO HAPPY.
